Microsoft has rolled out the September 2018 cumulative firmware and drivers pack targeted at its Surface Pro 3 tablet, which updates the Surface UEFI Firmware, Surface Embedded Controller Firmware, and Surface Integration System components.
Specifically speaking, the current release installs UEFI Firmware, Embedded Controller Firmware, and Integration System version 3.11.2550.0, 22.214.171.124, and 2.0.1350.0, respectively. These new updates manage to improve the battery stability for devices that are not in use.
Therefore, if you can make use of these changes or want your tablet to be up to date, you can apply this new update by using Microsoft’s Windows Update Service. However, bear in mind that through this method not all users receive the September pack at the same time.
If you don’t have the time to wait for your device to update itself automatically, you can also manually download, extract, and install all the drivers right now using the link below. Sill, don’t forget that this package is only compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 10 platform.
Last but not least, after applying all packages, it would be a good idea to reboot your tablet manually (if not requested automatically), to ensure all changes take effect properly.
That said, download Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Tablet Firmware/Driver September 2018, apply it on your device, and check back with us as often as possible to stay “updated one minute ago.”
